Working with young people (YPs) aged 11–18, helping them to understand the love of God in a variety of different ways appropriate to this stage of life.

Our youth work is led by David (our part-time youth worker) and supported by volunteers.

We meet throughout the week at a variety of activities, including:

  • Devoted: Sunday mornings during our Connecting with the Hebron Family, YPs (yrs 7–11) come together for a time to pray, learn and have fun.  Years 12–13 are welcome to join in the main service.
  • Tuesday Night Youth Club: A welcoming, safe and encouraging space for all YPs to socialise, play games and explore faith. 7–9pm every Tuesday evening (term time), meeting in the Youth Space at Hebron Church.
  • Older YP Group: Our older YP’s (yrs 10-13) are lead by Joel and Abbie at their home on a Sunday evening. We meet weekly from 7pm – 9pm to simply chill and look at what the bible has to say about issues relating to life, faith and relationships. There is often food involved and you would be very welcome to join us.
This group is made up of youngsters at different stages of their faith journey from curiously questioning to seeking to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
  • Walking Alongside: This encourages and enables adult church members to ‘walk alongside’ a young person, developing strong relationships by encouraging, listening, challenging, and praying with and for them. The exciting (and scary) adventure of faith is not to be done alone – this is the body of Christ living it out together!
