Working with young people (YPs) aged 11–18, helping them to understand the love of God in a variety of different ways appropriate to this stage of life.

Our youth work is led by Esther (our part-time youth worker) and Brian (one of our church leaders) and supported by volunteers. We meet throughout the week at a variety of activities, including:

  • Devoted: Sunday mornings during the Family Service, YPs (yrs 7–11) come together for a time to pray, learn and have fun.  Years 12-13 are welcome to join in the main service.
  • Tuesday Night Youth Club: A welcoming, safe and encouraging space for all YPs to socialise, play games and explore faith. 7–9pm every Tuesday evening (term time), meeting in the Youth Space at Hebron Church.
  • Thursday Night Bible Study: For the older members of youth (yrs 11–13) to spend time digging deeper into God’s word together. Each Thursday from 8pm.  Locations vary – get in touch to find out where we will be.
  • Walking Alongside:  This encourages and enables adult church members to ‘walk alongside’ a young person, developing strong relationships by encouraging, listening, challenging, and praying with and for them. The exciting (and scary) adventure of faith is not to be done alone – this is the body of Christ living it out together!
